I have been using plenty of knives for doing my routine cutting tasks, and I have to admit that butterfly knife is the best among them. I am usually a knife enthusiast and I love to collect different types of knives.
As of now, I have a collection of more than a hundred knives. But, I still believe no one has better appeal than this unique, two handle knife.
Now, why I think it is the best. I have used pocket knives of different designs, stiletto knives, and many others. But when it comes to butterfly knife, its features are unmatchable.
It provides some key advantages and features that make it the best knife for me. Let me discuss those features and advantages:
Powerful Locking Mechanism
Butterfly knife has a very powerful locking mechanism. Also, I can say that it is improved compared to that of a folding knife. In the case of folding knife, it is always threatening.
The locking function often malfunctions and causes threat of accidental injuries. So, I can say that locking mechanism was not very reliable.
On the other hand, butterfly knife has a solid and powerful lock which removes any possibility of injuries.
When the two handles are closed to conceal the blade, the lock makes sure that they don’t open themselves unless you unlock them. So, locking function is pretty reliable.
Ease of Carry
Easy of carry is the most significant advantage of a butterfly knife. If you see its folding mechanism, you can realize how easy it is to carry. First of all, it is small and can be kept in the pocket.
Secondly, when the two handles are closed, the knife become a small stick. The blade is hidden in those handles.
Therefore, you can carry it in the pocket like you are carrying a small stick. Also, one can’t identify what this stick is. But you know you are carrying a deadly knife in your pocket.
The Tricks
Another advantage of this knife is that I can perform different tricks with it. I know what’s coming from your side.
Karambit knife is also good for performing tricks and I do use it but I find butterfly knife as more comfortable.
It is easy to use for performing tricks. I don’t feel it threatening to do tricks with this knife.
In addition, I think butterfly knife tricks are easier to do as compared to karambit knife tricks. For example, flicking closing and flick opening tricks are too easy and even beginners can do them with ease. This is why it is great for performing tricks.
Sturdy Blade
Butterfly knife has a sturdy blade compared to other knives. It has a sharp and powerful blade that can inflict severe injuries. Its blade is durable and lasts for as long as you want.
Pocket knives are useful but they had very small blades that were not powerful enough to cut harder materials.
But, this knife has enough power to cut the hardest of the materials because the blade was too sharp and strong.
Multipurpose
The biggest positive of a butterfly knife is that it can serve multiple purposes. It has a blade that can be used for different cutting works.
It can be used for doing utility tasks. It can be a very handy everyday carry knife. You can use it for cutting work that you need to do on a routine basis.
The best way it serves the users is as a self defense weapon. Yes, butterfly knife is a very good weapon for self defense against the attackers.
It has a sharp blade that can get rid of the attacker. You can inflict long term injuries and enable your survival against the attackers.
So, these are some of the key reasons that emphasize me to use butterfly knife over other knives and weapons.
